Your Medicine Causing Dementia? (Medicines that INCREASE Risk of Dementia)
Is my medicine causing dementia? Which medications cause dementia??
We take medication expecting it to make us better or make us feel better. The last thing we want is to take a medication for one thing and have it make something get worse.
(See below for the full list)
If you are taking any of the Anti-Cholinergics as a long-term medication, then that is exactly what might be happening. You might be taking something to help you sleep or to lessen muscle spasms, and what it might be doing in the background is increasing your risk of developing dementia. Do you take any of the medications I discuss?
