IIFYM - KETO Done Wrong - 2021
IIFYM = If It Fits Your Macros, is a seductive concept, and might work for some. But, for the vast majority it adds an unneeded level of complexity to Keto, and can lead to problems in its own right.
Counting macros is useful when beginning Keto, but becomes unnecessary after a few months if your diet is filled wholly with real, whole Keto foods. IIFYM gives a false sense of security, and can lead to ultimate failure in those most needing success.
Focus on removing the slow-poison from your diet, and replacing it with real, whole food containing lots of healthy fat, moderate amounts of protein, and very little carbohydrate.
