Why is it that every time America tries to "help" during a foreign conflict, we only make things worse?

Could it be that our NeoCon politicians are all financially corrupt and have foreign money influencing their decisions? Or are they just that ignorant?... My guess is they are all just corrupt.

Lindsey Graham calling for Putin's assassination is just another example of stupid diplomatic mistakes. Our sanctions hurt the Russian people while we are purchasing billions of dollars of gas, making the Oligarchs rich. This is the opposite of what we want to do.
