- Coach Daboll definitely made it very attractive to come here in the conversations I was having with him, how he plays to his quarterback’s strengths, no matter if it’s Josh in there or somebody else. He says he’s going to call the game to the quarterback’s strengths and allow his playmakers to get open and make plays. It just seemed like a great offense to be a part of and learn from.

Brian Daboll on Mitchell Trubisky:
- Mitch has been a really good addition since he’s been here. (He’s) a guy that’s played 50-some games, has seen a lot of football. Standing back at that position, it’s different than watching it from the press box or watching it from the sideline or anything like that. There’s things that have happened to him throughout his young career so far that I think can help Josh and assist Josh, and vice-versa. I’m glad we have Mitch.
