Kickstarter Make 100 Project: Magic D20 Fate and Fortune Dice!

We present to you...our video for our Kickstarter 'Make 100' Project!
We're brand-new to Kickstarter's 'Make 100' prompt... In fact, it was already half way through when we discovered it. But as soon as we saw it, we knew it was the perfect way to launch our project, and decided to just go for it!
Our project is a "Magic D20", similar in concept to a Magic 8-Ball toy without the water. Fits in your pocket, glows under black light, and bounces when it hits the floor. Definitely rolls randomly! Simply ask a yes or no question and roll for an answer. But wait, there's more! If it lands on the site and star logo, you roll a standard D20. An additional card provides 20 more answers!
As lifelong gamers, we thought it would add a lot of fun to the gaming table. Or aggravate your DM...You choose.
You can use it with any game, or it's just as addictively fun all on its own!

We were planning a bigger version of this project, but manufacturing has its limitations. We created this fun version while prototyping. Because it is handcrafted, we were able to do things that we can't do in production: Bouncing, multi-colored, and UV-reactive isn't exactly standard fare. While we've backed Kickstarter projects, we've never launched our own Kickstarter project before, so there was a bit of a learning curve...we put our video and project together in a little over a week and barely made the launch deadline. (Note to Self: Plan better NEXT year!)

The video is ridiculous, but we had a lot of fun making it. We learned a lot of crash course skills from filming to lighting, to sound and editing. We included silly references from some of our favorite games including Fallout, Cyberpunk, Dungeons & Dragons, Shadowrun and Witcher. If you're a gamer, they may be your favorites too.

If you're also new to Kickstarter's 'Make 100' , here's how it works: it runs every year from Jan 1 - Jan 31st, and can include almost anything (see Rules! Nothing illegal or live pets...) as long as it is 100 Reward items.
It's a fantastic opportunity for artists to create handcrafted goods, or for anyone that has a small project they would like to try out on Kickstarter just to get their feet wet. And it takes away the fear of a project taking off to unreasonable levels that can't be managed.

This has been a fantastic experience for us so far, and we would recommend it to everyone. If you've been thinking about a project, this is such a great way to get started! And if you do, be sure to link your project in the comments so we can check it out!
