Rumblings of Secession in Alachua County Florida

The Florida House is voting on CS/HB 1493 which would allow Alachua County Florida citizens to vote if they should have Single Member districts. Democrat politicians voice their opposition and their dismay that some citizens in Alachua County drafted a 10,000 signature petition to secede and create Springs County.
