Russian Police detain Elderly Protestor

Yelena Osipova is a well-known political activist. Not only did she survive the siege of Leningrad when she was a child, but she bravely has protested against her own government for decades. Turns out, when I looked her up, she's also a prolific artist. Many of her works carry anti-war/anti-nuclear sentiments and her body of work displayed at her home was best described as 'a cozy basement with uncomfortable pictures'. Here's some of her work throughout the years -- all of it has captured the ire of Putin's administration as this isn't the only time she was detained:
