The Romanian MiG disappeared from radar off the Black Sea coast. ROMANIA IS A MEMBER OF NATO

A Romanian MiG-21 Lancet vanished from the radar on Wednesday evening.

The Mig21 pilot was last told to return to base due to bad weather conditions, then disappeared from the radar after a while.

A Puma rescue helicopter sent on a search mission also vanished.

The cause of their crash is currently unknown.
