Sometimes, when a person just thinks too much of their sin (they think that it will somehow hold God's blessings at bay—in spite of Christ dying for them), they need the old two-by-four of truth across the forehead (lovingly applied, of course), namely, that what they do is really not that damn impressive either way, but that the fate of the entire human race came down to two people and two only: Adam and Christ. (Not Bill and Joe and Suzy and Bob...etc.)
