Golden Tree Snake Eating Monitor Lizard After Falling out of Tree Next to Me at Dinacon

These golden (Flying) tree snakes are gorgeous, pretty much harmless to humans, and all over on the island we were at in Thailand (Koh Lon).

It wasn't a coconut. Good bye monitor. Full video from attack to complete devouring. Some timelapses in the middle. They are known as flying snakes because they can jump and glide from tree to tree. They love to crawl up palm trees, and we saw several mating at the top of a palm.
