In an interview with Amistad Project Director Phill Kline recorded on September 27, 2021, Wisconsin clerk Linda Sinkula describes learning from an election worker that Democrat operatives were registering voters in nursing homes, including those who don't normally vote. Under Wisconsin law, bipartisan teams of Special Voting Deputies are required to register and assist nursing home residents with absentee ballots.
This interview spawned extensive investigations into potential fraud at Wisconsin nursing homes, including heart-wrenching interviews with residents and their families that were featured in an Assembly Committee on Campaigns and Elections hearing on March 1, 2022.
