A soulful Segue City Special as Austin, Texas' Mingo Fishtrap starts it off with "Get Ready" (and you know they have to be from Austin with that kind of name - they're keeping it weird) into the Tower of Power - a group that knows soul and funk inside out and in all flavors better than anyone else - still hard at it 54 years later. They started as a group in Oakland the same year when the Mayor first started as a part time disc jockey in high school...he had to walk to school in the snow nine miles each day or something like that but that was in Atlanta and we're not buying the snow or the nine miles part at all... but we do like it when he buys the doughnuts for everyone...

Segue City will be a recurring short-form programming element of "The Big Kahuna" - one of GET's developmental Internet Radio formats created by Dain Schult. It’s all a part of GET’s radio division – American Internet & Radio (“AIR”).
