Russian invasion of Ukraine enters seventh day

Russia claims to have taken control of the Ukrainian Black Sea port of Kherson. The Kherson governor says that the city is surrounded but it remains in Ukrainian hands.

Russian paratroopers have landed in Kharkiv and the Russian military convoy remains outside the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv.
