Couple attempt the iconic 'Dirty Dancing' lift - but the woman flips over and faceplants

A woman was having the time of her life on a night out before she attempted the iconic Dirty Dancing lift - and landed on her face.

Kaily Webb was on a night out when she met Brad, 32, at a hotel bar in New South Wales, Australia, and proposed they tried the famous move.

Her friend, Jess Ring, 21, was there to capture their attempt on video.

Teaching aide Jess said: "It was Kaily's idea, the lift normally appears during night out. We love doing it when we are on a night out together."

But after Brad lifted Kaily over his head, she flipped over and landed on the ground, face first.

"I stood still and was in shock, then I ran over to make sure she was ok," said Jess.

Kaily added: "I actually walked away with no bruises or injuries - perks of being drunk!"
