The Nord Stream pipeline, which was constructed to convey liquid natural gas from Russia to Germany, may run dry if the US government has its way.

Suggesting that financial considerations may have played a role in the Biden administration's refusal to negotiate with Russia, the attack on Ukraine will likely compel Germany to refuse natural gas from Russia and instead remain dependent on US-based suppliers.
