Sam Elliott, Director of the Based Department, Lampoon's Fake Cowboy Love Story "Power of the Dog"

"Yellowstone" is the most popular property on television. The spinoff "1883" just wrapped up and it won't be getting a follow up season, but rather the "Yellowstone Universe" will be getting another prequel story from showrunner Taylor Sheridan, "1932."

The star of "1883," Sam Elliott, legend of the western genre, gave his thoughts on another high profile western product, "Power of the Dog." He had some dangerously based and red pilled comments that are being labeled "homophobic," but what he said is much different than what's being reported. It's far more hilarious and honest than that.
