This 7x50 stick features an oily, firmly packed mottled dark cocoa wrapper with a triple cap and pungent damp, cocoa and hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with rich plentiful thick and creamy medium-full bodied smoke showing notes of a deep cocoa and earth with a slight pepper but building cayenne heat and tingle on the long finish. The first third burns well pouring off the smoke keeping the same profile with the addition of a sharp sweet honey on the draw before fading to the heavier finish notes. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes with flavors unchanged, still complex and near full bodied. The ash holds for a solid chunk and burn is perfect. Ending at 1:25 the last third drops the sweet honey but keeps everything else with flawless construction.
