High-Rep Squat Suffering

This was my first time squatting this weight for more than 20 reps. Note that I misspoke at the beginning. It's one high-rep set, which is not the same thing as high volume. Anyway, it was a painful and exhausting few minutes of squats, followed by three sets of Z presses and rope chinups. Grip was definitely the limiting factor on the ropes, as my CNS was just wasted after the squats. I should have chalked up for the first set, but didn't think of it at the time. It's hard to think clearly when you're nearly delirious.

I expect that my legs will ache for at least a couple of days. The pain is worth it though, for the positive effects it has on both my physical conditioning and mental toughness. And, it sure cleared my mind of all the negativity from a crappy day at work!
