Ukrainian President Zelenskyy: ‘I Need Ammunition, Not a Ride’

Ukrainian President Voldomyr Zelenskyy is proving himself a hero to his country, making his choice to stay and fight the invading Russians known to all. When offered a ride to safety from Americans, he defiantly rejected, telling the White House, “I need ammunition, not a ride.” No one could have predicted the former comedian and attorney’s rise from playing the president on television to facing off on the world’s stage against Vladamir Putin as the actual president of his country.
