At a question and answer session in South Africa on November 22, 2021, Elder Rasband said the prophet's words urging the covid vaccine supersede those of government leaders who have spoken out against it.

Do any of these men show forth fruits of true prophets? No. Do they prophesy? No. Do they tell us of future events? No. Do they tell the wicked in high places to repent of their abominations? No. Do they perform many mighty miracles? No. Do they quote what the Lord has said to them? No. They literally have no true fruits of a prophet of God.

From which god is the vaccine a godsend, Rasband? Does the Lord work through Bill Gates and Pfizer to deliver "miracles?" A "miracle" that has caused countless side effects and death? This kind of insane talk by Rasband and others in the Q15 originates from somewhere very evil. People don't act like this naturally. Your secret character and behavior, whether good or evil, always begins to slip out in your speech.

Notice when Elder Rasband quotes the letter, he leaves out the last paragraph - about following "the wise and thoughtful recommendations of medical experts and government leaders" - implying we should listen only to the "wise" leaders that they think are wise.
