Seed It

Seed It! There are so many ways we can be used in our everyday living, and in our churches where God has planted us. Like a garden, there is cultivating the ground, preparing for seed, planting-sowing the seed, tending the seedlings, caring for the plants, protecting the harvest, harvesting the yield. All these things are simultaneously happening all around us as God is on the move, planting, growing and harvesting, purposefully so in all of us. We will at one time or another be asked by God to do one of these things. He equips us to tend His garden of people. Sometimes, whispers spontaneously in our ear, this is the way, walk in it and He might ask us to spontaneously seed into a garden that has been cultivated and prepared for seed. Whatever it is that God asks you to do, do it and do it unto Him. Being a harvester is so exciting, yes and we all hope to be put in that position. Yet preparing the soil, cultivating it, tilling it, it may seem like a mundane thing, but without it, there is no harvest. So, Wherever God has you and whatever He has asked you to do, do it with all your heart, do it excellently because simply-significantly, in the long run of things, it matters. I am a prayer warrior mostly, what I call an intercessor, called by God to pray, I cultivate the ground. There are times when I am tilling the ground, weeding around the young seedlings, times when I am tending and caring for plants before they bloom. I love the times God gives me the privilege to sow seed. I know that is a blessing because as you are serving with your time, energy and talents, it is a double blessing when you get to seed into this in a sacrificial way, because this makes way for a future harvest. God takes our sacrificial offerings that He has asked for, and He uses them to grow people in His way, truth and life. We may never see the result of a sacrificial seeding, but we can know without a doubt, when the harvest comes in, God will say: “Well Done Good And Faithful Servant.” A servant warrior for God, a servant leader, is always giving more than they have, because they trust in the well-known truth that you can’t outgive God. I like to say: “I am living way above my pay grade”! That is God’s economy! Whatever you sow, you will reap. No doubt about it. You might not reap it in the same way you sowed it, because God is so creative, and He will surprise you with just what you need, when you need it and how you need it, and that still small voice will say: You have reaped what you have sown. How sweet is that! Sowing and Reaping, let’s all be about God’s business and keep on being found in His Garden, cultivating, tilling, sowing seed, tending the seedlings, caring for the plants, protecting the harvest, and harvesting. Wherever He positions you, listen up, stay in followship of Him and as Mary said: Do as He says. God bless ya. Dig Deeper:
