Backpacking: The reason I always carry a tarp and some guylines in my pack...

This past summer I was hiking in Davis Meadow when a rainstorm unexpectedly hit my location. I always carry a tarp in my pack for this exact reason. Found a great little area to make a shelter with a fire pit so I hung out for a few hours with my adventure dog/sidekick while the storm passed. Remember to always be prepared for every situation when venturing into the backcountry!
