Living Off-Grid in a 4x4 Truck: Wood Stove Awning Room Update & Silky Hand Saw Field Test

Man, my second nights sleep in the awning room was GLORIOUS. Even though it was a bit loud from the wind as I was settling into my sleeping bag, I was able to saw log all night long and didn't wake up until 8am. It was a peaceful morning at camp with some song birds making noises nearby. I love having a quiet start to the week. Hope you all had a great day, thanks for tuning in! ~ Brian

Definition of "Off-Grid": Off-the-grid or off-grid is a characteristic of buildings and a lifestyle designed in an independent manner without reliance on one or more public utilities. The term "off-the-grid" traditionally refers to not being connected to the electrical grid, but can also include other utilities like water, gas, and sewer systems, and can scale from residential homes to small communities.
