Hey Everyone! I decided to jam back to Colorado to sleep in cooler weather and found a decent amount of snow on the ground at 10,000ft coupled with GREAT evening temps! Glad to be back in CO for a bit.

In this video I show off my incredible campsite location and talk about the changes I'm making to my topper. I installed a piece of plexiglass for the roof of my slide out extension and turned it into a skylight. I wanted more natural light in my topper so this accomplishes that.

Some of the gear I'm using...

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OFF-GRID AND SELF SUFFICIENT HOMESTEADING

Definition of "Off-Grid": Off-the-grid or off-grid is a characteristic of buildings and a lifestyle designed in an independent manner without reliance on one or more public utilities. The term "off-the-grid" traditionally refers to not being connected to the electrical grid, but can also include other utilities like water, gas, and sewer systems, and can scale from residential homes to small communities.

Self-sufficient means needing no outside help in satisfying one's basic needs, especially about the production of food, and homesteading means living a lifestyle of self-sufficiency. So by those definitions, the key to homesteading is learning to be self-sufficient.
