Hey Everyone, my friends Tyler and Leo joined me at camp for one evening and I wanted to show a few shots of their rigs. They overland in '05 and '06 Toyota Tundras which are pretty awesome for three reasons...
1. They have a 6 inch deeper truck bed so you have more space for a buildout.
2. The engine is a very durable 4.7L V8.
3. 2nd Gen Tundras are slightly larger than a midsize but still smaller and more maneuverable compared to the beast full size trucks on the market these days.
This video is about our day relaxing at camp.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OFF-GRID AND SELF SUFFICIENT HOMESTEADING

Definition of "Off-Grid": Off-the-grid or off-grid is a characteristic of buildings and a lifestyle designed in an independent manner without reliance on one or more public utilities. The term "off-the-grid" traditionally refers to not being connected to the electrical grid, but can also include other utilities like water, gas, and sewer systems, and can scale from residential homes to small communities.

Self-sufficient means needing no outside help in satisfying one's basic needs, especially about the production of food, and homesteading means living a lifestyle of self-sufficiency. So by those definitions, the key to homesteading is learning to be self-sufficient.
