Stop Saying, "I Don't Want to Be a Bother."

It's common for folks to think they are a bother to someone. This kind of thinking is problematic in the body of Christ. I'm not sure how to change that mindset with so many Christians. People will say, "I don't want to be a bother" to me, too. They know I'm busy, and they don't want to "bother" me. I get it. Though I appreciate the show of respectful kindness toward me and whatever may be happening in my life, that perspective is counter-productive to the Christian life, as well as unbiblical.
