Volkswagen Jetta - 2022 - Modern & Sporty Sedan,.announced that pricing for the 2022 Jetta and Jetta GLI will start at $20,195 and $30,995 respectively. The refreshed Jetta family features new technology and styling that will continue to appeal to lovers of the value-oriented Jetta and the sporty Jetta GLI.

The 2022 Jetta will be offered in four trim levels, while they will offer the GLI in one fully loaded Autobahn trim. New for 2022 is the Jetta Sport trim, which features the XDS® electronic differential lock and dark graphite 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels as standard, along with a blacked-out grille, mirror caps, and window trim, a black headliner, and unique cloth sport seats. They positioned the Sport trim just above the base S trim for maximum accessibility.

The refreshed Jetta adopts the 1.5-liter turbocharged and direct-injection EA211 engine found in the Taos compact SUV, making 158 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. The 2.0-liter EA888 engine powers the Jetta GLI, producing 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is standard on both Jetta and Jetta GLI, with the eight-speed automatic optional for the Jetta and a seven-speed DSG® dual-clutch automatic transmission available on the GLI.
