Christians study to show themselves approved to God (2 Timothy 2:15). The bible is our source for living the approved life. However, a lot of Christians have not even read the book one time, not in their entire life, because they are too busy doing other things that are more enjoyable to the flesh. And those other things are more enjoyable to the flesh. Christianity is about overcoming the flesh and enjoy life on a spiritual level rather than a primarily material level.Show more

The sad thing is that Christians that never learn the book, never learn to live at the spiritual level God instructs. They have no spiritual integrity. Spiritual integrity involves living life on God's terms, not substituting one's own terms. The only way to know God's terms is to read God's book.
