Tom Cruise spotted filming for 'Mission Impossible 8' in South Africa

Tom Cruise was spotted setting off in a helicopter to go film scenes for Mission: Impossible 8 in the South African savannah.

Locals said he has been staying in the small northern town of Hoedspruit in South Africa, near the border with Mozambique.

The 59-year-old actor has been flying himself to scenes in nearby Kruger National Park, and has been staying in the town between shoots.

Amber Maas, 22, a Dutch part-time photographer currently doing volunteer work in South Africa, snapped some shots of Cruise smiling and waving.

She took them yesterday (26) before he flew off in the black helicopter.
