Vladimir Putin was born on October the 7th in 1952 in Leningrad.
He was born in the family of Vladimir and Marina Putins who participated in The Great Patriotic War. The future president was the youngest among the three children. Putin’s brothers Viktor and Albert died at a very young age. Putin’s grandfather Spiridon Ivanovic was a great cook. He was once invited to work in Lenin’s summerhouse. Besides that, Ivanovic had a chance to cook for Stalin as well. Vladimir Putin's childhood was spent in a small room in a Baska alley in an apartment with no proper utilities, however, the boy was not ashamed of the conditions he lived in. On one occasion, Putin confessed that he remembered the huge rats hunting around the entrance door. Since childhood, Putin was pretty popular amongst his female peers. In 5th grade, he was already kissing girls and even was a hero of one-sided love. In school Putin wasn’t doing as good, he would get minimum passing grades from physics, chemistry, algebra, and geometry. Once Putin dared, he would eat 20 eclairs, but he couldn’t continue after the 14th. His success in sports would cover his underperformance in school. He participated in a lot of judo competitions where he received a lot of awards. During his whole life, Putin had only one friend whom he met at the university. Being a sambo professional he convinced his friend to attend some classes. During his first competition, he accidentally fell and broke his neck, and days after he died. Putin went through severe stress after his loss. Putin received a black belt at the age of 18. In 1999 Putin and his friends published a book “Learning Judo with Vladimir Putin”. On the internet one can find Putin’s pictures with various animals from his own dogs to bears and tigers. The president loves animals. He has a whole zoo where he keeps all the animals he was gifted. The president has four dogs (Labrador, two poodles of the genus Karakachan), a goat and a kid, and a dwarf horse. Putin loves his dogs a lot and sometimes even takes them to political negotiations. Sometimes they joke as if he is trying to scare the leaders of other countries. There are rumors that Putin uses his pets to have psychological pressure on political leaders, and Angela Merkel is afraid of dogs. Chancellor's staff warns way beforehand that there shall be no dogs hidden anywhere near when she arrives. But once when Putin and Merkel were having a discussion his Labrador Cone comes into the room. While Merkel tries to keep herself together, the Russian president asks, “doesn’t the dog scare you”? Despite his relatively low chances of winning the lottery, Putin has an example of a major victory. In the 1974 state lottery, he won a Zaporozhets car. Putin’s biggest disadvantage is his lack of punctuality. Most of the time, the head of the country is late for any meeting, he even makes the Pope, or the president of another country wait.
