Putin Threatens the West With Nukes, 3803

We all know that Jumpin Joe Biden is desperate for a diversion from his political problems, but triggering the increasingly unstable Vlad Putin is one ignorant step too far.

Just a couple of hours ago, the U.S State Department called for all Americans to leave Moscow immediately – a tacit next step to threatening the unthinkable - an exchange of nukes, and ending Jumpin’ Joe’s hopes of being put in a position where he could win the coveted Noble Peace Prize by somehow saving the day with what his supporters last night called “his brilliant strategy” thus far.

Let’s start with Putin’s perspective. Putin’s speech on Thursday morning was seen by very few Americans. It provides a necessary viewpoint to accurately assess how we have suddenly arrived at the dawn of a lengthy nuclear winter.

“I will begin with what I said in my address on February 21, 2022. I spoke about our biggest concerns and worries, and about the fundamental threats which irresponsible Western politicians created for Russia ….

“I am referring to the eastward expansion of NATO, which is moving its military infrastructure ever closer to the Russian border.
It is a fact that over the past 30 years we have been patiently trying to come to an agreement with the leading NATO countries regarding the principles of equal and indivisible security in Europe.

“In response to our proposals, we invariably faced either cynical deception and lies or attempts at pressure and blackmail, while the North Atlantic alliance continued to expand despite our protests and concerns. Its military machine is moving and, as I said, is approaching our very border.”

This report has consistently pointed out that Russia should not be pressed into service as an enemy of Western civilization by China – which is exactly what we see today - Russia as cannon fodder for the Chinese. Nothing would please China more than a major war between Russia and the West.

No, Russia must be pulled into the West to equalize the very real threat of Chinese communist dominance over the world.

They don’t call Jumpin’ Joe, “China Joe” for nothing. Obama/Biden has done everything they can to drive a wedge between the U.S. and Russia, and this new land war in Europe is only the latest fruit of this wedging activity.

So, here is the basic cause of the eruption of war in Ukraine over the past week – Biden/Obama/China pressed Putin with continual hints of NATO membership for Ukraine, which meant to Putin the spectre of MRBM (Medium-Ranged Ballistic Missiles) sooner rather than later being stationed only a stone’s throw from the Russian border.

If if was OK for President Kennedy to threaten a nuke exchange with Russia for stationing MRBMs – though far more rudimentary - ] in Cuba 60 years ago, just 100 miles from Miami, then how can the West now blame Putin for making a similar threat today?

Let’s continue with Putin’s address last Thursday:

“Why is this happening? Where did this insolent manner of talking down from the height of their exceptionalism, infallibility and all-permissiveness come from? What is the explanation for this contemptuous and disdainful attitude to our interests and absolutely legitimate demands?”

Putin is absolutely right when he criticizes the “all-permissiveness” of the West – better known as the woke agenda. It is – all by itself – the death rattle of civilizations. Continuing with Putin:

“…. since force is all that the West understands, Russia is using force to end the use of Ukraine as a pawn against Russia.
In the past the stupid and arrogant West ignored Russia’s warnings. …. If the dumb… Western leaders do not hear this warning, the West will cease to exist!”

But it gets worse:

“I would now like to say something very important for those who may be tempted to interfere in these developments from the outside. No matter who tries to stand in our way or all the more so create threats for our country and our people, they must know that Russia will respond immediately, and the consequences will be such as you have never seen in your entire history.

“No matter how the events unfold, we are ready. All the necessary decisions in this regard have been taken. I hope that my words will be heard.”

So how has the West responded to Putin’s threats?
This evening, this release through Agence France-Press, the world’s oldest international news agency:

“BREAKING: EU countries will provide ‘fighter jets’ to Ukraine under Brussels funding”

The EU is hardly a pillar of righteous civilization, itself.
Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and Finland are now sending weapons to Ukraine. Putin is between a rock and a hard place. If he backs down he may be overthrown for overplaying his hand and handing his nation a humiliating defeat – he, himself facing either a bullet or a gulag.

If he continues to rage across Ukraine, the West will unite against the new Hitler and crush him. He really has no choice but to escalate and that is why tonight he has ordered his nuclear forces to high alert – the ultimate in threats. And that’s why talks to end hostilities are being discussed tonight – the only way to back this situation off of the DEFCON 1 precipice.

And all the while, the Chinese are sitting back calmly watching it all on TV, and, as they say, “making out like bandits.”
