Fishing the Gila River in New Mexico -Spoonplugging!

I this video, I use my Spoonplugging knowledge to locate Gila Trout in a River. The best locations for finding fish in rivers are in the bends of the river. I used a jigging technique with a spinner to make these fish strike. Casting and reeling the lure did not produce. Sometimes, you gotta make them strike! Catchable populations of the once endangered Gila Trout have been introduced into its native waters, in New Mexico, for anglers to enjoy.
