Why is MSM, & Gov. of Ukraine using clips from video games when reporting on Ukraine/Russia?

Why is the mainstream media using clips from the video games Arma 3 and War Thunder when reporting on the Ukraine/Russia conflict? Why did the official government Twitter account for the Defense of Ukraine share clips of Combat Simulator World while claiming they shot down a Russian jet?
