Brahma Kamalam - King of Himalayan Flowers (Om Shanti Om Meditation)

Epiphyllum oxypetalum: The Brahma Kamal, "Nishagandhi', The Dutchman's pipe cactus, Princess of the night or Queen of the night is a species of cactus. Blooms at night with a heavenly enchanting fragrant smell, and its flowers wilt before dawn.

The blooming of this rare plant is considered a harbinger of luck and prosperity. This flower has Indian mythological significance, and some stories state that the creator of the cosmos, Brahma, was born out of this flower, hence Brahma's Lotus.
