We can count on God in time of need, but can God count on us? Pastor Mike preaches Matthew 26:30-41 to challenge us with that question. Our video title, from verse 40 (KJV) illustrates Jesus' disappointment with his disciples as they slept in His time of need.

We, as Peter and the others, can't be so sure how we will perform in God's time of need for us. As verse 41 reminds us: "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."

As we pray for those in Ukraine, let current events be a reminder that our time to be faithful and RELIABLE is at hand. Pastor quotes from Ezekiel chapters 37-39 to point out that this situation was prophesied thousands of years ago. It is part of God's plan. Are we ready to respond to the call? Are we praying for a miracle to bring good from this crisis? Are we ready be raptured if that is God's plan for us? Are we ready to stand if otherwise?

Be faithful: pray, trust, and have the COURAGE [there's that word again] to do God's will. Remember that the battle is His, and the Holy Spirit was sent to guide, help, and comfort us.
