Contemplating Valhalla - Retro Lofoten, Norway

If I ever go trekking in northern Norway again, and don't take proper filming equipment with me, promise me that you will take a Viking axe to my skull! 🗡️

Before the world was shut down by global madness, on a whim, I went to northern Norway, to the Lofoten Islands, and trekked the mountains of the arctic. It stirred my soul and made the blood of my ancestors burn within my veins. ϟ⚒️⚡

I will go back, someday soon. Until then, I am left with memories vivid, as I contemplate Valhalla.

A Viking went a wenching
Beyond the northern sea.
A Viking went a pillaging
With bold audacity.
A Viking went a sailing
Across from Normandy.
A Viking in a drunken rage
Begat my family tree.
