Whether you're frugal like me or there is no readily available zero clearance insert for your table saw, making your own zero clearance insert plate can help you make safer, cleaner cuts on your table saw.

In this video, I use my factory throat plate as a template for creating a zero clearance insert using my table saw, jigsaw, router and sander.
