🎼 ABOUT TIMBALADA 🌞😍
The story of love and success began in 1991, Banda Timbalada was launched by Carlinhos Brown with its characteristic sound that comes from the timbale. It enchanted crowds from the beginning, in Salvador, and spread throughout the world. It was an audience record at the Montreal International Jazz Festival, in Canada, with 210,000 people at the twenty-first edition of the event in 2000.

Timbalada also participated in the project at the Lincoln Center Theater in 2002 and in the Brazilian Day with an audience of 1.2 million people in 2004, in addition to animating around 1.5 million at the Madrid Carnival in New York in 2005.

One of the main marks of the band are the painted bodies of its members, its first formation had the singers Ninha, Pátricia and Xéxeu, in 2006 Timbalada gained a new face with the singer Denny. And now, in 2017, on stage, those who put their voices to accompany the drums are the very talented Buja Ferreira, Paula Sanffer and Rafa Chagas. It is the return of three singers in the front line, which has already happened in other moments of the band.

Under the direction of its creator, the sound of the new Timbalada affirms its unmistakable percussive base, now accompanied by the smooth and powerful voice of Paula Sanffer, by the irreverent personality of the restless and talented singer-songwriter Rafa Chagas, and by the talent, style and performance of singer and songwriter Buja Ferreira.
