Preparation for the crisis: The True medical missionary work

Have you ever thought of it? When the National Sunday Law is Enforced , do you think you will be able to go to any medical facilities or any medical doctor to ask them for help ? When restrictions are raised against the faithful, when there is a ‘no buy no sell law’ enacted upon the children of God, how will it be with you and me. Well we are counselled to know better that: “..The time is coming when we cannot sell at any price. The decree will soon go forth prohibiting men to buy or sell of any man save him that hath the mark of the beast. ...” 5T:152. “In the last great conflict in the controversy with Satan THOSE WHO ARE LOYAL TO GOD WILL SEE EVERY EARTHLY SUPPORT CUT OFF…Because they refuse to break His law in obedience to earthly powers they will be forbidden to buy or sell.” DA 121,122 .Has God who can see the end from the beginning given his people counsels to prepare for these difficult times? We are told: “As religious aggression subverts the liberties of our nation, those who would stand for freedom of conscience will be placed in unfavorable positions. For their own sake, they should, while they have opportunity, become intelligent in regard to disease, its causes, prevention, and cure. And those who do this will find a field of labor anywhere. There will be suffering ones, plenty of them, who will need help, not only among those of our own faith, but largely among those who know not the truth. {CH 506.1} Do you see it friends? This is not just knowledge for ourselves but that we also will be effective missionaries for God as we work as relief workers. The test is coming. We already can see it in the current crisis. We are told: “This test must come to the churches in connection with true medical missionary work, a work that has the Great Physician to dictate and preside in all that it comprehends.” LLM 62. Come that we may learn together these ideal principles of physical preparations even as we prepare spiritually.
