The Russian military eliminated the dam built in Ukraine to block the supply of water to the Crimea, Aksenov told RIA Novosti.
Footage of how military engineers of the Russian Black Sea Fleet blew up a concrete dam that blocked the North Crimean Canal since 2014.
Now the military is clearing the canal and repairing the floodgates disabled by Ukrainian radicals. When the work is completed, water will flow through the North Crimean Canal to Crimea.
