SpaceX Completes 8th Launch of 2022

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California Friday. The rocket was on a mission to bring 50 Starlink satellites into orbit. Starlink is a constellation of satellites designed to bring internet access to rural and remote areas of the earth. Space X currently has permission to send 12,000 Starlink satellites into space. The company has applied for approval to launch up to 30,000 more.
