Day 18: Beginning With Gratitude
• Studies consistently demonstrate that some of the happiest people on earth are those who excel in showing gratitude. The more a person is thankful and can show their gratefulness to others, the happier they become! Throughout Scripture, we see this truth as more than a result in a scientific study; it is in the very fabric of who God created and desires us to be. Ps 100:4
• One of the keys to prayer and fasting is gratitude. Before we ask God for a single thing, we should start by thanking Him for what He has already done! Psalm 143:5
• Looking back at what God has done in our lives serves as a reminder of all the ways God has been faithful. And when we remind ourselves about how good God is, we can’t help but thank Him! Ps 77:11

Personal Supplication
Father thank You for being there for me and my family. You were my help in ages past, my very present help in time of need and my hope for years to come. Help me maintain this attitude in 2022 and beyond in Jesus' name! Ps. 100:4
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, And into his courts with praise: Be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Daily Protection Covenant Declaration
Because I dwell in the secret place of the most High, I shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover me with his feathers, and under his wings shall I trust: his truth shall be my shield and buckler. I shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Only with thine eyes shall I behold and see the wicked rewarded.

Because I have made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, my habitation;
There shall no evil befall me neither shall any plague come nigh my dwelling.
For God shall give his angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways.
They shall bear me up in their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone.
I shall tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt I trample under feet.
Because I have set my love upon God, therefore will He deliver me: He will set me on high, because I have known His name.
I shall call upon Him, and He will answer me: He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me, and honour me.

With long life will God satisfy me, and shew me His salvation.
So shall it be for me and my household today and forever, Amen and Amen!
