Of all the recessed sensors, the 5818MNL is our favorite. The 5800MICRA, which is another magnetic recessed plunger switch, can sometimes be a bit finicky as its magnet is polarity conscience. The 5818MNL, however, is much more forgiving, and a bit more robust. Like all of Honeywell's wireless sensors, apart from being well made, it's very simple to program into Honeywell's wireless security systems.
