(Silver Dial) SILAY004

W is designed by Japanese car and product designer Satoshi Wada for fashion brand Issey Miyake.
In 1998 Wada worked as a designer for car manufacturer Audi on several models including the Audi A5. Wada has since launched his own car design studio, called SWdesign TOKYO.
Wada's experience as a car designer has a strong influence on the style of his W timepiece: the solid watch case is inspired by the wheel of a car and the face features an inner stainless-steel ring, with the hour markers slotted in between this and the watch case.
The face features gauge-like details with three chronograph dials and long slim hands that replicate speed dials found in cars. The watch also features a date function at the three o'clock position that adds to the mechanical look, along with the three crowns set on the right hand side of the watch case.
The W watch is available in three colourways: white with black dials and black strap, black with black dials and brown strap, or white with white dials and black strap. Each watch has a leather strap. This men's watch has a 43mm diameter case.
