DIY Gate Latch - for my garden fence

Here is a quick video showing how I made a self-locking gate latch for my garden. I used scrap metal that I cut from an 'L' bracket, a couple nuts/bolts/washers and a small spring. Maybe this might give you an example of something that might work for your own fence gate. Thanks for watching!
