Mallet handle from a mesquite log

Here is me making a new handle for a mallet from a mesquite log. It was a project for my friend Brian who had an old craftsman mallet/sledge with a worn out handle. I used a chainsaw to rough out a chunk of wood to start with then I used a table saw and band saw to rough out the shape. After a little sanding/filing and a coat of linseed oil she was done. Thanks for watching:)
