How to Make Corn On The Cob - The Hillbilly Kitchen

My husband Bret didn't understand the "Cook time" of corn on the cob even after editing and watching this video. He said that it's not clear to him how long corn should cook.

My answer is...corn can be eaten raw out of the garden. All you're doing is bringing it to a boil...almost. Don't let it actually boil. As soon as you see a few boil bubbles cut the heat off. However long it takes to do that is how long it should cook, plus allowing it to sit in the hot water for 5 or 10 minutes. If you boil the corn it will be tough.

Corn on the cob - Shucked
Butter
Salt
