Hobo Meal & Hillbilly Picnic - The Hillbilly Kitchen
Bret and I go on frequent picnics and we go there by motorcycle. We have a 1987 Suzuki GV 1400 Cavalcade. It was a bike that Bret had wanted for years. We've been on several memorable trips, each covering several thousand miles.
We've traveled by motorcycle and seen the Grand Canyon of the west and the Grand Canyon of the east. (Most people don't know about the one in the east.) We've been to General Custer's battlefield in Montana and Buffalo Bill Cody's saloon in Wyoming. We've battled the crosswinds of Kansas, the arid Utah desert and the frozen peaks of the Colorado mountains.
Some of our most enjoyable rides though, have been short jaunts to the local state parks with a picnic basket full of hillbilly fixin's. Go with us as I cook me and Bret a Hobo Meal over an open fire.
Ingredients per packet:
3 or 4 - Chicken tenders
1/2 - Medium onion
1 cup - Chunked up New potato
1 cup - Baby carrots
2 tablespoons - Butter
Lemon juice, honey, salt, pepper to taste
