Man Builds Plane to Commute to Work

He built himself a plane to save 7 minutes off his commute each way
He lands in a field next to where he works the morning shift at a Czech Republic factory that make machine making tools for the forestry industry
After he lands he simply walks his plane over to a parking spot at the factory
Luckily his employer has no problems with him taking up 4 parking spots in the parking lot
He modelled the plane after an American series of planes called Mini-max
Plane is propeller powered by a 3 cylinder engine, has 1 seat and an open cockpit
The plane is almost entirely made of wood and can reach a top speed of 91 mph / 146 kph
It took him 2 years and $4000 to build the plane
This is the 2nd plane he’s built, he plans to build another plane, a recreation of a 100 year old Deperdussin Monocoque
