Washboard (maybe) Calendar Holder (maybe)

I have something I found at a garage sale last summer and it just looks cool. I thought it may be a washboard but after looking at some actual washboards I don’t think this is one. If anyone knows what it may be, could you comment and let me know what it is?
Anyway, I cleaned it up and made it into a display for my calendar (since I lost my little metal calendar holder thingy.) When I went to hang it up lo and behold there was my long lost metal calendar hanging thingy! So I cut out the word home and made the washboard, or whatever, into a home sign. I think it looks much better as a home sign than a calendar displaying/holder thing! That is what this video is all about :)
